I have been a nurse since graduating with my BSN in 1985. My professional development has included working in Med/Surg, in the Operating Room - first in the general OR, then Neuro and finally finding and loving Cardiac Surgery. I then moved into a Cardiac ICU. Later, I worked for an insurance company (needed a clinical break but found I really loved clinical afterall!). Took a long break from nursing while raising young children and was finally able to get back 4 yrs ago. Began working in critical care again and have most recently found myself as the Critical Care Clinical Educator in my hospital. I currently find the need to expand my knowledge and understanding as an educator and so have landed here at Ramapo!!
